Hubble time

A measure of the length of time for which the universe has been expanding, the presently accepted value is between 13,000 and 15,000 million years. It is defined as the reciprocal of the Hubble constant, and it represents the time required for the universe to double its present size. The actual age of the universe is less than the Hubble time.
